Web Application Firewall

The Web Accelerator platform can serve as a frontend cache, a Web Application Firewall (WAF), or both simultaneously.

The WAF uses a set of proprietary rules created by the Seeweb staff to block the most common intrusion attempts.

Utilizing a WAF is often a regulatory requirement, but our staff can also implement custom configurations to specifically protect sites with known security issues that cannot be updated.

All the functions described in this guide are applicable to both products.
