API Token
API Tokens are useful tools for integrating your remote services with our Rest API easily and quickly.
To fully understand what API Tokens are and what they are used for, it is necessary to explore
User Management and API Tokens to gain an overview of the API functionalities present in our services.
Although the use of API Tokens is exclusively reserved for APIs, their creation and management are also possible through the web panel.
To view API Tokens, click on:
Calculation -> API Token
Or go to API Token.

Adding a Token
The procedure to add a Token is very simple, just click on "NEW TOKEN" and assign a name to the new Token:
Once the name of the Token is confirmed, the content of the Token itself will be displayed as a result:
Once generated, the token can be copied and used in any request towards the ECS services API.
Warning
ECS services do not enforce token regeneration, but it is strongly recommended for long-term periods for security reasons.
Removing a Token
To remove and disable a Token, you need to click on "DESTROY", confirmation for the destruction of the token will be requested, once confirmed, the token will be unusable on ECS services.
