SSH Keys
The use of SSH keys is highly recommended, although it is possible to use temporary passwords (OTP) to access the Servers just created, it is much safer to use your own SSH key.
To access your SSH key management panel, open the user management dropdown menu and select "SSH Keys".
Once done, the following page will be displayed:
Here you can:
- View SSH keys (n. 1)
- Add a new SSH key (n. 2)
- Remove an SSH key (n. 3)
Add a key
Before you can use an SSH key, you must register your public key with our services.
To do this, click on "ADD" (n. 2), and the following form will appear:
You then need to generate the SSH key (n. 2) and enter the content of the public key by filling in the appropriate fields (n. 1).
To generate the key, follow the instructions to the right of the form (n. 2).
Once generated, you will be able to use the key during the creation of any Server
Warning
Remember: registration cannot be completed if:
- The SSH key name is not unique per user
- The SSH key does not meet the appropriate format
Remove an SSH key
To remove an SSH key, click on "REMOVE" (n. 3), and a confirmation form will appear. Once confirmed, the key will be completely deleted from our systems.
