Server

Servers are the central element of the Hermes panel, which supports both Shared CPU Servers and High Memory Servers, GPU, and NPU.

This page will only address Shared CPU Servers.

Viewing Servers

You can view your Servers by accessing the respective page; to do this, use the left sidebar and click on:

Compute -> Shared CPU Servers

The following screen will then be visible:

Server List Page

In the Server list (n. 2), all the user's Servers will be listed. To view the details of a server, simply click on its name.

This operation is only possible for active Servers.

Searching for a Server

While using the display pages, the search bar will become accessible, allowing you to filter Servers by name or id.

Best Practice

Always remember this feature when choosing the name of a new Server and use a particularly descriptive label, e.g.:

  • server-web-01
  • db-fr-1
  • db-fr-2

Or highlight characteristic attributes of the Server such as the plan, datacenter, or operating system:

  • eCS6-01
  • debian-12-01
  • eCS6-it-fr2-debian-12

This way, they will be much easier to find quickly.

Compressed View

There are two display modes, and you can switch between them at any time:

  • Compressed View (automatic above 3 servers);
  • Extended View (automatic below 3 servers);

You can switch between them by clicking the table expansion button (n. 4).

The compressed view is shown as previously indicated..

In the compressed view, you can get an idea of the server thanks to the descriptive icons placed on the row (n. 6). To interpret these icons, you can follow the legend below:

Interacting with the Server

During the compressed view, you can interact with the servers by opening the dropdown menu by clicking on the downward arrow (n. 5). Once opened, the menu allows you to Rename the Server, Open the console, Delete the Server.

Extended View

The extended view allows for more information on the Server without needing to open Server Details. It's recommended after you've searched for the server or if the number of servers is less than 3.

Creating a New Server

To create a new Server, you need to open the Configurator by clicking on "NEW SERVER" (n. 3).
